Adam creates texture rich acrylic expressions through the use of various utensils and techniques designed to engage the viewers creative and imaginative thought to go beyond the literal forms of thinking. Adam draws much of his inspiration from nature, mood, travel, music, creative thought and life experience.
Born and raised in rural Manitoba, Adam currently lives in Argyle, Manitoba where he finds much satisfaction painting in his home studio. In early 2023 Adam traded in his urban downtown loft studio in the heart of Winnipeg's Exchange District to move to a more peaceful and serene rural environment. Adam enjoys the beauty in all things "Art" but has a particular liking for two of Canada's most infamous abstractionists; Jean-Paul Riopelle and Paul-Emile Borduas.
Adam considers himself a self-taught artist however he did a brief period of study in 1999 at The Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
